A Happy Christmas season to all our subscribers. As we commemorate and celebrate the birth of our Lord and Saviour Jesus, may we be reminded of the profound things about Him. He who created the world and for whom all things were created was looking for a place for His birth and found none but in a manger. The true Shepherd that He is was seeking for His sheep that were lost.
As we celebrate this joyful season of goodwill to all men, let us remember that the One who is the reason for our joyful season is the true Shepherd who is called Faithful. He is the Way, the Truth and the Life. He is forever calling out to us: “Come to Me all you who are weary and are heavily burdened and I will give you rest.” What a refreshing invitation to be called to rest even as we look forward to the coming new year. It takes a restful unburden soul to enter into his green pasture, a place of nourishment, to walk in the paths of righteousness and to partake of the table of blessings, healing and opportunities the LORD God has set before us in Christ. There is no better way to honour our Lord Emmanuel, the Faithful Shepherd whom we celebrate this season than to yield to Him and abide in Him.
